Company History

The Hennigan Beginning

In 1967 Timothy Hennigan Sr. retired from the United States Navy as a Commander and as a Professional Chemical Engineer. He realized a need and market for supplying water treatment and boiler chemicals to a changing and growing industrial infrastructure market and established Hennigan Engineering Company, Inc. to serve that market.

More than 50 years later and to this day, three generations of Hennigans have owned and operated Hennigan Engineering Company, Inc. With Hennigan leadership the firm has grown, diversified and evolved into an International service company that performs some of the most technically complicated service projects in the industry.

Hennigan Engineering Co., Inc.  currently provides services to the nuclear power industry as well as utility, chemical, pharmaceutical, government, military and municipal clients. Our goal is to provide the services that keep facilities operating at maximum efficiency resulting in a lowering of our client’s operating cost.

In 2006, Hennigan Engineering acquired  “Tunnel Vision” to provide pipe infrastructure video inspections and cleaning services as well as water intrusion repair services. This division has a variety of sophisticated robotic and specialized  cameras to perform inspections as well as state-of- the-art utility pipe cleaning equipment.
